Google Cardboard - Try out Virtual Reality

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

This session will be an experimental session to look at some the really cool features of Google Cardboard. Google Cardboard is a set of cheap cardboard goggles that house your smart phone. Your smart phone can play many apps that transport you into a virtual world. Students are loving this new immersive experience. Take your students to places that they have never been to before in Google Streetview. Create your own 360 degree photos and see them using the goggles. This session will be an opportunity to discuss ideas on how we as teachers can use this technology in the classroom. To try the Google Cardboard goggles you will need to have a Smart phone.
